Jari Arkko is a Senior Expert with Ericsson Research. He has worked on routers, Internet technology, software development tools, cellular networks, security protocols, radio sensing, and AI. He likes to personally build and use the technology that he works with. Today he works on Internet evolution, 6G, artificial intelligence, and radio sensing. He is a frequent contributor on matters relating to Internet architecture, trends and administration. He has also served as the Chair of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), the Internet technology standards development organisation, as well as a board member in various roles for more than a decade.
